About Gremio Logo

The logo is circular with a white background and a thick black border. Inside the circle, there is a blue horizontal band across the center with white text that reads "GRÊMIO". Above the blue band, the number "1903" is printed in black, and below the band, the acronym "FBPA" in black as well. The blue band has the appearance of a curved banner.

Surrounding the blue central band, there are alternating black and white sections that give the impression of a soccer ball with hexagonal and pentagonal shapes. The top and bottom black pentagon shapes align vertically with the central blue band, and white hexagons sit adjacent to them, forming a ring-like pattern.

The stark contrast between the blue, black, and white creates a strong visual presence, and the text "GRÊMIO" is bold and prominent, which would make the logo easily recognizable for those searching for this specific company emblem.

Gremio Logo Information and History

You've probably seen the Gremio logo a thousand times over the years, but do you know what it represents? The Gremio logo is a simple, sporty design containing several shapes, including 11 stars and 19 circles. Its colors include teal, black, silver, purple, faded blue, and light grey. Whether you love Gremio football team or are just looking for the right design for your blog, you're sure to recognize it.

The club's history and logo began in 1904. The first game the team played was against Fuss Ball Porto Alegre, which they won 1-0. The Wanderpreis trophy that they won that game is still displayed in the club museum today. Within five months of that match, Gremio was able to inaugurate their new home in Baixada. In the early '80s, Gremio moved to the national level, where they eventually signed a sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola.

The club's first period of dominance in South American football came in the early 1980s, when the Olimpico Monumental stadium was completed. They beat Sao Paulo in a two-legged final in 1981 with a Baltazar goal. In the same season, the Olimpico Stadium recorded its largest attendance ever. That same year, Gremio won the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Several years later, Gremio won the Copa do Brasil for the first time in its history. Flamengo were humiliated 6-1 in the second leg of the semi-finals, while Gremio knocked out Sport Recife in the final 2-1. In addition, the club also won the Brasileirao. This prestigious title is celebrated in many countries around the world.

Advanced Colors

We've extracted the below 'advanced colors' from the logo. These should be much closer to the actual colors found in the logo. Our extractor tries to only take the main colors of the image and tries to ignore shading on anti-aliasing or shadows. This generally leads to better results, but in some circumstances you might find a few unusual colors being pulled from the logo.

Ocean blue
Black
Faded blue
Light grey
Slate grey

Hex Colors

The below are the hex colors that are found in the logo. You can assume that these are the actual colors used in the logo. Our color extraction tool that takes the colors from the logo tries to ignore anti-aliasing and shadows, so you may sometimes find a slightly odd result, but this is rare. These colors should be very similar to the Advanced Colors, but you'll notice subtle differences. If you're interested in the exact color then use the hex, but if you're trying to describe the logo then use the Advanced Color or the Basic Color above.
